wonderfully bold and at the same time every bit as tender and expressive as the 19th c school girl drawings I love so much
What I love most about this vintage mid-century porcelain tiger is the relationship between its body and its face: its body is long and sleek

Very Sweet Old Rooster Potholder black glazed wonderfully bold and at theThis sweet one I might exempt from duty as a potholder and just let live on a shelf among a flock of creatures, but it is ready to go should one wish to put it to use. Someone certainly put a lot of effort into it, crocheting the body with what looks to be silk cord, with red felt for its crest and beak and matching red felt lining. And button eyes on either side too. 8 1 8" long measured straight across from beak to back. Very good, clean condition.
