1829-30 Penmanship Practice Notebook, in German, Presumed American low country marsh which fit in the holesI purchased this one especially for the layers of text and doodles on the inside covers and first and last pages, including a little Fraktur writing yum yum but love it front to back, including for the fact that I can't read German so the lines of penmanship practice repeated over and over become more or less just beautiful fields of line. Pretty cool too, that though in German I am confident is it American: it's author was a Johannes Knetz, but on
