but could swing  Scandanavian with some winter berries or a spring tulip or two

I purchased this piece at the estate sale of gallerist Cynthia Numark Prelack

And I must say it does take some attention to properly match them

Carved and Intensively Decorated Vintage Wooden Snake wood plane These are antique and showThe shape of this snake remind me a bit of that of a boomerang, and the inked black and gold decoration all over feels a bit Aboriginal Australian too, but I don't know for sure where I came from just that I think its a pretty great snake, just the right size to keep on one's desk, or put on someone else's as a surprise! Nicely carved head with open mouth and white teeth inside. 10 1 2" long measured as a straight line from head to tail; 4 1 4" across
