Emilie Gem Initial Necklace Letter:I A sparkly finishing touch comesThe Emilie Gem Initial is hand sculpted and cast using the traditional fine jewelry "lost wax" method, in 22K gold dipped brass with crystal details. Our Creative Director, Tara, was inspired by the gilded paintings of Gustav Klimt in creating the series, named for Emilie Floge one of Klimt's favorite muses, and his life companion. Tara forms each letter in clay before setting the faceted stones in place. The design then gets cast in lost wax brass
