The lift up lid with a thumb molded edge, the top locks and there is the original brass oval escutcheon to the front of the chest with three arched panels below. The lift up lid encloses a generous amount of clean and aroma free storage, the base of the chest is fitted with two drawers, each with twin brass bale handles and oval brass lock escutcheons. The front edges of the chest are
