2021 Veronica Ortega 'La Llorona' Godello, Bierzo, Spain Kir-Yianni 100% whole cluster fermantion2021 is the second vintage of this wine, a 100% small grain Godello grape, that comes from a 35 years old vine with a clay and sandy soil, located in the town of Pieros. It is an area elevated above the valley, at 500m of altitude which, together with the character that the sandy soil gives to this grape, confers to this wine a stunning crystalline minerality. Hand harvested, destemmed grapes, light skin maceration for one night and gentle racking.
