2017 Herve Rafflin Champagne La Nature’L 1er Cru Extra Brut

The color here is a bit darker than normal with mostly fruit tones first present on the nose

then the wine was bottled to obtain natural bubble

which adds deep color and flavor to this wine

Most wines, like this, are from one vintage and one varietal, seeing no dosage. One of the new wines that changes course from this program is Holistique which replaces Frison's 'Portlandia' bottling. It now has some kimmeridgien soil represented and a touch of Chardonnay (30%).
