From the producer: The unlikely co ferment of Cabernet Franc and Syrah was born of an abnormally hot harvest with nearby fires. We picked at a ripeness fitting for our take on a well balanced and structured red wine while limiting smoke exposure. Nearly two full years in neutral oak gave Cygnus the time she needed to integrate varietals, tame tannins, and become something much greater than the individual parts.
