Eric Rodez Champagne Grand Cru Blanc de Noirs Extra Brut NV [Disg. 7/24] Wine Club 2012 was a short vintageEric Rodez trained in the cellars of Krug before returning home to Ambonnay, the grand cru village that is Pinot Noir's headquarters in Champagne. He farms biodynamically and blends deeply from reserve wines, which is how a Blanc de Noirs ends up with this much depth without losing its nerve. Extra Brut, so the dosage stays out of the way and the fruit and the chalk do the talking. Disgorged July 2024, and drinking beautifully right now.
