2016 Bodega Les Cousins Marc & Adria La Sagesse, Priorat DOCa, Spain Ehmoser Josef Raised and aged for 9From rugged old vine parcels in the village of Porrera (Priorat), this 2017 is a thoughtful blend of ~55% Carignan (Cariena) and ~45% Grenache Tinta, harvested by hand from vine stocks planted on steep terraces of llicorella (slate & schist) soils at very low yields (~5 6 t ha). Fermentation begins with native yeasts in stainless steel vats after full destemming, followed by a short maceration of 610 days, then a gradual press off of gently extracted
