Fine Antique Sterling Silver Gilt Vinaigrette Francis Clarke Birmingham 1841 Redo Bigelow exhibited in many galleriesA very early Victorian sterling silver gilt viniagrette by Francis Clarke, Birmingham, 1841. This very nice vinaigrette is in fine condition with an engine turned top, engraved with a shield shaped vacant cartouche (no monogram),the back of the case also with 'rope twist' engine turned decoration. The hinged lid with a floral clasp enclosing an interior engraved gilt hinged cover, to receive a sponge that would hold a fragrance as an antidote to the
