2023 Morgen Long Witness Tree Vineyard Chardonnay Eola-Amity Hills, USA Pierre Borel then bottled while still fermenting100% Chardonnay from Witness Tree Vineyard, hand picked 9 26 22. From a 1. 52 acre block of 2019 planted mixed clones on 101 14 rootstock near the top of the vineyard: 45% FPS 87, 45% Dijon 76, 5% Dijon 96 and 5% Dijon 548. The soils are pure Jory over volcanic basalt. Vines spaced 3. 28x6, facing southeast between 600 680 with 20 30% slopes. The farming is transitioning towards organic, and the vines are non irrigated.
