Calycanthus Aphrodite PP 24014 Tropical Looking Plants suitable for Jack and aIt's hard to adequately describe this astounding sweet shrub hybrid, created by NC State University's Tom Ranney. Calycanthus 'Aphrodite' is a cross between the US West Coast Calycanthus occidentalis and the Chinese Calycanthus chinensis. The result is a gigantic shrub, that could easily double as a small tree. Our 10 year old specimen has reached 15' tall in height with a 25' wide spread. The arching stems are clothed with long green leaves, and
